Blue and Olath ....
are suffering the same problem.
Wich would be : adjusting to their new surroundings.

If you don't know wich way to go.
Don't turn any direction but sit down untill you do know.
In this kind of issue, there is hardly a 'wrong choice'.
So !
A little analyse on Blue.
She's used to being in power.
She's used to being obeyed.
Being 'dethroned', this pretty much sums up er her .. issue.
She has to change the way she sees herself in her new land.
Aalak calls her matron and she calls Aalak Yathtallar.
In retrospect (rpwise) that's pretty funny and also 'slightly' ironic.
Does she see herself as Matron?
Well .. that's the bitchiest question of them all.
No.
Yes.
No.
Almost her entire life she had been matron or as close to being one that it made almost no difference weither she was or wasn't.
Her power doesn't come from titles, because even without them she has her loyals and her minions if she so dearly wishes.
Has she reached the end of her limits?
Hmmmm.....
That's .... a more difficult question even.
Because .. Blue is more a part of my rl person then I am of Blue.
So .. saying she reached the end of her limits would imply that my rl self has reached the end of her creative spiral regarding Blue.
That's .. not really the issue.
Because when I sketch , doodle or jot down some words ... she comes back and lets herself be known.
I do find it, however slightly, disturbing that I'm able to adjust my point of vieuw to that of Blue.
The easyness of the matter , more like it.
Like the snap of a finger, I look through her eyes and am able to let her make decisions on her own. Often not what my rl self would have done/wanted/said.
Through Blue I have defended certain .. opinions or standpoints (-literal translation from dutch wich i don't know how to say in english) .. wich horrify me in rl.
But I defended them , through Blue , with animo.
Issues about victim(ology) and certain hmmmm... machiavellistic tendencies.
You could call her a mix of Leon Trotsky (shoot the ones that turn back) and M.Thatcher born as the queen of Sheba as she would have been, should her name have been Carl Rove.
(lol).
Some clarification.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XucJzgJgWtQ&feature=related
Trotsky managed to row people up to follow him in a violently bloody revolution across Europe.
Created an entire army from scratch. So .. not professional soldiers, but ordinary people.
In his own words: " One of the most discusting decisions I had to make, was to shoot people trying to run away from the fight. Because if one leaves, more will leave untill all will leave."
He's ofcourse utterly right in his position ... if one flees and succeeds, others will and they will endanger your chances of succes and victory.
It's mercyless, but in pure ... pragmatics. I'm almost afraid to admit it .. but he's right.
I won't go into the discussion on how my personal vieuw on the matter is any more then "Wars are not won on the battlefield, but in the minds of the people."
M. Thatcher, the Iron Lady, kinda speaks for itself. Blue has an iron fist and isn't afraid to smack it on the table either.
(So far for my rl self, not afraid to speak up or make my stance known)
But, take the Iron Lady and dress her up like a beautiful, sultry yet untouchable woman.
Cold and viscious.
(note tho: Blue is not untouchable in rp, only in her mind, wich believe it or not WORKS and I never ever had to godmode one single line, exept for some scripted rp stories .. wich is not godmoding if you tink of it.)
Carl Rove well ... some may know, some may not.
Somewhat of a living legend ... evil mastermind, sorcerer.
Political schemer in the background and shadow puppet of the higher echelons, fixer, bustboy, "miracle worker". Professional liar.
Those black beady eyes can burn the soul right out of you (lol).
You can see and notice he's lying. But the self control , the muscle tension on the face are so precise and practised, you'd need to know what you're looking for to show he's lying.
It's noticable in the smallest of things, what you'd call "intuition", imo is nothing more then your brain picking up patterns in behavior it doesn't know how to translate. "unease".
That translates to Blue very good.
/me smiles
/me smiles ...
/me ...smiles
/me ...smiles...
Each of those .. portray the same facial expression.
Yet the feeling you get with all of them seperate varies.
Roleplaying the correct bodylanguage, as to let people know you are lying, is actually pretty hard.
You can't tell the truth. Or all of it.
You can't straightout lie as much as they will believe you.
BUT
In the words of mr. Rove, or somewhat like it.
Lying is only workable if you're any good at it.
So .. tell the truth. But make it sound like a lie, or in any case, create doubt and the opportunity for conflicting opinions, preferably public opinions, screaming the opposite of your own proclaimment (lol) .... Such a thing is called: hidden in plain open sight.
But above all, only change your story, when nobody seems to recall the exact words you uttered.
If someone does remember, silence them before you publically 'adjust' your opinion, after having steered public opinion in the way you wanted it to go. Away from the truth.
Oh this is getting nasty isn't it..... .
Funny thing is.
Its not just the combination of those people that more or less describes Blue's character.
It's also a pretty accurate description on the three major fases she went through during her slife.
Wich in the end ...
is also funny ... that starting out the "revolutionary" , hmmmmmm preeeetty much as my rl was. That one so easily devolopes, without their own admitted knowledge, into a dictator who thinks it's his/her godgiven right to be one ... into a manipulative plotter, political schemer and a coldhearted liar.
Luckily .. in my rl I only went through fase one, then got into conflict with ... the dictatorial aspects, wich could have rubbed off on me, .. yet I CHOSE not to go down that road.
It's a choice Blue doesn't really have.
And I think we hit the major issue here.
I feel sorry for her.
